Czech enterprises have a unique opportunity to participate in projects under the 6th Framework Programme for Research and Development (RTD). Especially SMEs who often face the problem of insufficient research capacities can receive considerable support for their research and technological projects. Support to innovative SMEs and facilitation of research in the private sector have gained considerable importance in the European Union and the Czech Republic has recently also introduced a number of important steps in this area.

 

The goal of SME support within the Framework Programme for RTD is above all the introduction of new technologies into production and introduction of research results into practice.

 

Direkta Group s.r.o. is currently carrying out intensive preparation and mapping of the details of the Framework Programme possibilities and the conditions placed upon SMEs´ participation in the programme.

 

In this context we are currently initiating cooperation with partners from various member states. At the same time we are closely following the preparation and are participating on the formulation of Czech priorities for the 7th Framework Programme.

 

Due to the fact that one of the preconditions of the Framework Programme for RTD is international project realisation team, we can use our knowledge of the Czech market and contacts abroad in order to facilitate networking of companies and search for partners. We are able to find suitable partners for Czech companies planning a submission of a project, or find Czech partners for foreign project coordinators.
